ABOUT THE TEAM

BACK TO BACK WINS AGAINST HSBC SEE US FINISH THE SEASON STRONGLY.

A hard fought 3 1 win away at HSBC saw us get 6 out of 6 against them over the last 2 games. See the match report for further details.

We welcomed new boy Adrien into the fold and he certainly endeared himself to the Gaffer when in the post goal celebrations following the sublime finish from the veteran marksman, he commented upon the similarites between myself and the genius that is David Ginola.

And why?............because i'm worth it!

Pre match we again gained an insight into the trials and tribulations of those who float around in the upper echelons of high society.

Looking downbeat and almost troubled Deji opened his heart to those around:

'I'm almost inconsolable. The en suite they've put in the master bedroom has got a bath in it. I categorically told them that the bath was to be placed in the ensuite of the other 5 bedrooms and that the master was to have a shower only. I'm almost tempted to buy a new penthouse as a result.'

This pre match trauma may have affected lesser men. Thank heavens Sir Dejinald is strong of mind and was able to put what can only be described as a catastrophic ensuite disaster, on the back burner ,whilst he played a superb 90!!

Thankfully the over cautious mind of the Gaffer saved what could have been an embarrassing underpants and shinpad moment this week.

With Belly having kindly done the kit, it transpired that we had to lend the 3s our away shirts. In the email dialogue from the Gaffer to Belly the following was stated:

'Give them the shirts only as we will need the shorts and socks'

Naturally The Bellman gave them the whole lot!!

Donning some new white shorts and socks we took to the field looking immaculate and the Gaffer certainly found it strange that some of his team should question his motivational pre kick off war cry to little G10 who was wearing a pair of the Extra Large shorts:

'Take your tracksuit bottoms off' was the hilarious line bellowed across the pitch. PA loved it!!!

G10 was also of prime fascination to Belly who was transfixed by the 'beard' that G10 has developed over the last 10 weeks!

A tough game yesterday but one in which we had to show some real resolve. We've one game left and it's really important that we finish on a high and can then focus on our anual battle with the BOS.

See you at training,

Cheers

Shal
